AN ALMOST PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THE DESIRABLE GTS IN A TIMELESS COLOUR COMBINATION HAVING COVERED ONLY 55,179 MILES.
Originally designed to replace the 911, the 928 GTS’ role was to be a comfortable, quiet and refined sports car that had the same high level of equipment found in that of rival manufacturer’s luxury saloons of that period.
The 928 is not only iconic for being the first V8 front engined sports car manufactured by Porsche, but more so down to the fact that it was a groundbreaking four seater GT car and an engineering masterpiece at the time of its launch.
This particular example was registered on the 15th September 1995 and finished in Polar Silver metallic with black draped leather. It was complemented by wooden inlays in the door cards and centre console and also specified from new with the following options:
The CD radio has been recently replaced with the ever popular Porsche Classic Radio at a cost of over £1,000 (incorporating a colour touch screen with bluetooth connectivity, iPod/iPhone integration and satellite navigation).
A healthy history file is present with the 928 including previous V5’s and MOT’S, and a host of servicing/reconditioning invoices.
