This exceptional example has covered less than 390 miles per annum in the last 16 years and it easily has the most extensive and ridiculously fastidious history file we have ever seen.
This 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Coupe Sport is an original right-hand drive C16 UK car and is powered by the 231bhp 3.2 air-cooled flat-six engine, which puts the power to the rear wheels via the desirable Getrag G50 gearbox.
First registered on the 20th September 1988, this ‘1989 model year’ example was supplied new by Porsche GB through AFN Guildford and finished in Baltic blue metallic (also referred to as “Taubenblau” or “Dove Blue” – Paint code L37B), with a Marine blue leather and pinstripe cloth interior.
Accompanying the 911 are two lever arch files full of history from day one and the attention to detail and accuracy of them is nothing short of outstanding. To demonstrate just how extensive it is, I have photographed just 36 pages which all have between 12- 14 entries on each.
These include every piece of maintenance the Carrera has ever received, whether it was a service, MOT or just the tyre pressures being checked. All fuel fill-ups were documented including the petrol station used, what fuel, how many litres were put in and what the mpg was for that outing, before predictably being cleaned and tucked back away. It is all there in the finest of details.

The Carrera presents itself in exceptional order throughout, with no rips or tears to the leather or pinstripe cloth and there is barely any visible signs of wear to the switchgear.
The bodywork too is very honest with only the odd blemish and stone chip present as one would expect. The paint still has an incredibly deep shine to it and there are no parking dings, dents or scrapes to report. However, more importantly, there is no sign of corrosion occurring in any of the usual G-Series weak spots.
